A Smashingly Good Move
When people ask me why I chose RE/MAX Desert Properties, I tell them, “I liked working at a major discount brokerage, but I love where I’m at now more. Because, over time, there being no broker available, no secretary at the front desk, and no obvious general support, I began to feel I wasn’t even getting value for the little I paid.
And then, I’d get a call from Tracey. I knew her from earlier years when she was more an agent than an owner. She is a bit of an odd duck. However, I did and doo like her, and then one time she called while I was sick (pre-covid). She asked about my health, and I was amazed. Nobody from my brokerage had called. She was genuinely interested in my well-being.
I came in on the first Friday. It was a wonderful experience. She is a smashingly warm person. She talked and I talked. She listened and showed me the support at RE/MAX, which is eye-boggingly massive. Plus, I met Eric and the two explained the additional benefits they’d set up through their offices and how they personally provide help. They even told me to call them on their cell phones., and you know? They pick up.
I know how to list and how to sell. I’m really good with people. Paperwork. Flyers. Technology and the internet: That’s where I need support. After fifteen months at RE/MAX Desert Properties, I can honestly say my business growth more than pays the small extra fees over my former (discount) brokerage. I guess you get what you pay for. The ease of business. The confidence clients have in me and the brand. Tracey and Eric are now MY Odd Ducks. I made a smashingly good move.
